当前位置：所有的旅行房车，都能提供一个非常重要的感受，就是它让你能如家里一般的舒适与便利。因为，它具有相当完善的供水系统。如果没有这个系统，今天的旅行房车旅游活动，不会这么兴盛的。
供水系统与废水系统是并存的，事实上，可视为同一个系统。供水系统必须做到像家里一样的方便，只要打开水龙头，水便会自动流出来。清水来自车内部装设的清水箱，或是来自营地的接水水龙头。车内水箱的水，是采用一个12V的自动加压供水水泵。当你打开水泵开关以后，它会将车内整个供水水管，加压至20 ~ 40 PSI。当旅行房车不用的时候，请记得，将车内供水水泵的开关关掉。因为，如果清水箱里没有水，供水水泵会不停的空转，容易造成损坏，当要将外接水管，接到营地的水龙头前，请先将水管灌满水，以减低进入供水系统的空气量。要将空气从水管中排掉，是一项简单又基本的用水程序。首先，先将清水箱装满水，再将供水水泵打开，然后，同时将所有车内的水龙头打开，直到流出的水没有空气便可。当使用外接水源时，也必须做这一个基本的程序来排气。
由于一般的家用自来水供水系统，压力非常高(100 psi)。当使用外接水源时，你必须有一个减压阀的装置，来降低供水的水压，这样才不会损坏车内原有的供水系统(40 psi)。很多新车种出厂前，即装设有这种减压阀。如果外接水接头，没有预装减压阀，只要加装一个在「外接水管」上便可。
由盥洗盆及浴盘排出的废水 (gray water)，通常汇流到废水箱里，至于车内马桶的肥水，则排到较小的肥水箱中。一般车内，都设有水量表，可监控清水箱废水箱之内容量，以便随时做清理的工作。在国外，通常使用88mm的排水接头与导管，将废水或肥水，排到营位的污水处理池中。在国内，到目前为止，没有任何营地，休息站，加油站或国家公园，设有污水处理池。所以，都采用19 mm排水软管，外接于废水箱泄水阀上，直接将废水，排到水沟中。至于肥水，一般，则采用行动马桶或抽倒式马桶，再将肥水箱拿到厕所倒掉。

When using external water source, this basic procedure must also be done to exhaust.
Due to the general domestic tap water supply system, the pressure is very high (100 psi). When using an external water source, you must have a pressure reducing valve to reduce the water pressure of the water supply, so as not to damage the original water supply system (40 psi) in the car. Many new models are equipped with this pressure reducing valve before leaving the factory. If there is no pre installed pressure reducing valve for the external water connection, just install one on the "external water pipe".
The gray water discharged from the washbasin and bath pan usually flows into the waste water tank, and the fat water from the toilet in the car is discharged into the smaller fat water tank. In general, there is a water meter in the car, which can monitor the capacity of the waste water tank in the clean water tank, so that cleaning can be done at any time. In foreign countries, 88mm drainage joints and conduits are usually used to discharge waste water or fertilizer water into the sewage treatment tank of the camp. In China, so far, there are no camps, rest stations, gas stations or national parks with sewage treatment pools. Therefore, 19 mm drainage hose is used, which is externally connected to the drain valve of the waste water tank to directly discharge the waste water into the ditch. As for the fat water, generally, the mobile toilet or the pumping toilet are used, and then the fat water tank is taken to the toilet for dumping.
